LTR Comics Return, Cancellation & Refund Policy

At LTR Comics, we take pride in accurately representing our comics and collectibles and in packaging orders carefully for shipment. Because comic books and collectibles are condition-sensitive products, certain restrictions apply to cancellations, returns, and refunds.

Order Cancellations

Orders for in-stock merchandise may be cancelled prior to shipment at the discretion of LTR Comics.

Approved cancellations may be subject to a 20% cancellation/restocking fee.

Once an in-stock item has shipped, the sale is considered final except in cases of qualifying shipping damage, fulfillment error, or an item that is materially different from its listing.

Preorders & Subscription Orders

Preorder and subscription products are ordered from our distributors based on customer commitments.

Customers may request cancellation prior to the applicable Final Order Cutoff (FOC) or other ordering deadline established by LTR Comics.

Once LTR Comics has placed an order with our distributor, cancellation is not guaranteed. If a cancellation is approved after the ordering deadline, the order may be subject to a 20% cancellation/restocking fee.

Once a preorder or subscription item has shipped, the sale is final except in cases of qualifying shipping damage, fulfillment error, or an item that is materially different from its listing.

Repeated cancellations of preorder or subscription orders may result in restrictions on future preorder or subscription purchases.

Returns

Because comic books and collectibles are condition-sensitive items, returns for buyer's remorse, changes in market value, or dissatisfaction with a condition that was accurately disclosed in the listing are not accepted after shipment.

If a return is approved for reasons other than an error by LTR Comics or qualifying shipping damage, the customer may be responsible for return shipping and a 20% restocking fee.

Returned merchandise must be received in the same condition in which it was originally shipped.

Raw Comics & Graphic Novels

Raw comics and graphic novels are represented through product photographs, publisher-supplied images, descriptions, and condition information provided in the listing, as applicable.

Any grade or grade range provided by LTR Comics for an ungraded comic book represents our opinion of the book's condition and is provided as an estimate only.

A raw comic grade estimate is not a guarantee of the grade that CGC, CBCS, or any other third-party grading service may assign to the book.

Graphic novels, trade paperbacks, hardcovers, and similar collected editions are sold according to the condition and product details stated in the listing.

Normal manufacturing characteristics and defects consistent with the stated condition of the item do not constitute a basis for return when they are visible in photographs or otherwise disclosed in the listing.

For preorder items, cover artwork, format, dimensions, release dates, and other specifications may be subject to change by the publisher or distributor prior to release.

Graded Comics

Professionally graded comics are sold according to the grade and certification assigned by the applicable third-party grading company.

LTR Comics does not guarantee that a graded comic would receive the same grade if resubmitted, regraded, or evaluated by another grading service.

Graded Comic Holders

LTR Comics inspects graded comic holders prior to shipment.

Minor cosmetic imperfections to the outer holder or interior well may be present and are generally not considered defects unless they materially affect the integrity, security, or protection provided by the holder.

Examples may include:

Light surface scuffing or abrasions
Small cosmetic marks
Minor interior edge marks or similar holder characteristics
Minor imperfections commonly associated with the manufacture, handling, or shipment of graded comic holders

Newton Rings

Some CGC holders may display an optical effect commonly referred to as Newton rings. This can occur when portions of the inner well and outer holder come into contact, producing an oily or rainbow-like appearance.

Newton rings do not affect the comic's assigned grade and, by themselves, are not considered damage to the comic or holder.

Minor cosmetic holder imperfections or Newton rings that do not materially compromise the holder or comic generally do not qualify as damaged merchandise.

If a graded holder arrives with significant damage—such as substantial cracking, separation, or other damage that may compromise the holder or comic—please contact LTR Comics within 48 hours of delivery.

Damaged, Incorrect, or Misrepresented Items

If an order:

Arrives with significant shipping damage
Contains an incorrect item
Is missing merchandise
Is materially different from its listing

please contact LTR Comics within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include photographs of the item, packaging, shipping container, and shipping label when applicable.

LTR Comics will review the circumstances and work with the customer toward an appropriate resolution, which may include replacement, refund, store credit, or another mutually appropriate solution.

No restocking fee will be charged when a return or refund results from an error by LTR Comics or qualifying shipping damage.

Please retain all packaging until the issue has been resolved, as photographs or the original packaging may be required for a shipping carrier claim.

Publisher & Manufacturing Defects

Comic books are mass-produced products and may occasionally contain minor printing, binding, cutting, ink, or other manufacturing variations.

Minor publisher or manufacturing characteristics that do not materially affect the condition or usability of the comic are not considered shipping damage.

Examples may include minor ink variation, slight printing imperfections, or other normal characteristics of the manufacturing process.

Preorder Images & Release Information

Images displayed for preorder products may be solicitation or stock images supplied by the publisher or distributor.

Final cover artwork, trade dress, release dates, creative teams, product specifications, and other product details are subject to change by the publisher or distributor prior to release.

Publisher-suggested retail prices may also change prior to release. LTR Comics will not increase the price of a completed customer order without the customer's agreement. If a material publisher or distributor change affects an existing preorder, LTR Comics may contact the customer regarding available options, including cancellation and refund where appropriate.

LTR Comics is not responsible for publisher or distributor changes outside of our control.

Shipping & Combined Orders

Orders containing multiple items generally ship once all merchandise included in the order is available.

Orders containing preorder merchandise may therefore be held until the final item in the order has arrived.

Customers who would like available merchandise shipped separately from preorder merchandise should place separate orders or contact LTR Comics to determine whether additional shipping arrangements are available.

Comics are packaged using appropriate protective materials based on the size and contents of the order.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible.

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the refund results from an error by LTR Comics or qualifying shipping damage.

For discretionary returns approved by LTR Comics, return shipping costs are generally the responsibility of the customer.

Refund processing times may vary depending on the customer's bank, credit card issuer, or payment provider.

Marketplace & Auction Purchases

Purchases made through third-party marketplaces or auction platforms, including services such as Whatnot or eBay, may also be subject to the return, cancellation, and buyer-protection policies of that marketplace.

Where applicable, the marketplace's required policies will control.
